NFTs: Something new

I have to admit that if you asked me some months ago I would have never agreed with you about the whole NFTs thing.

I don’t want to explain what NFTs are. I mean, there loads of people out there way more qualified than me on the matter. I’m just a simple user who wants to try and explore this new opportunity.

Anyway, as I said, I was a bit skeptical. It was not fault of any principle or statement that I made, it was just my laziness, I didn’t want to include myself in the cryptocurrency world. I don’t really know why.

Maybe I was just being stupid.

After a lot of rethinkings I decided to give it a try, and today I’m proudly announcing my first collection.

It still feels a bit weird, almost like when put on your first pair of glasses: you see the world in high resolution and you feel relieved.

Obviously, before publishing it I had to do all of my OCD searches on the crypto world, Ethereum, and Polygon in particular.

I have to admit, I feel excited.

It’s a bubble? Maybe. It’s an opportunity? For sure. And I think it’s going to be the very basis for the art world in the future. Maybe I will use it for my magazine too, who knows?

I know that this article is very messy, I’m writing following my guts, it’s almost like a written reaction. But, anyway, let me tell you something more about my collection:

Lost, thrown and forgotten. This is the destiny of this facemasks collection. Since the beginning of the pandemic a lot of face covers had been thrown in the streets of every city, marking a very huge environmental problem. Every single piece represents a different mask lying down on its personal chunk of the ground. This collection will be always updated with new and different pieces.

Here you can find the first asset!

I really hope that you will find my project interesting. Let me know what you think about in the comments!
